As a ’70s kid, I’ve seen it all, from Slim-Fast bars promising a chocolatey shortcut to weight loss (spoiler: not a magic trick) to the Susan Powder ultra-low fat craze that left me questioning the very existence of healthy fat.

Like so many other women my age, I grew up with a very disordered relationship with food and my body.

My own interest in nutrition and fitness over the years came from a borderline obsession with food, which honestly was anything but healthy. And in 2016, I decided to go back to school to get my natural nutrition diploma from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, hoping for the elusive perfect diet. (Surely I’d find it there!?)

But rather than finding the perfect diet, I found myself dealing with a lot of anxiety, worrying about the non-organic food I was feeding my family, not drinking lemon water, and blaming myself for EVER giving my child sugar.

Well, there’s good news….I did finally realize that there is no perfect diet after all. Real nutrition and, more generally, wellness, are as unique as a fingerprint, evolve as you age, and have never been predicated on perfection.

I also realized that mindset (rather than food) is what often gets in the way of success with a healthy lifestyle. So, I got more training, read more books, and incorporated new material into my coaching for clients.

I’m here to share this knowledge with women 40+, to help them rewrite their food story, equip them with real-life tools, and turn healthy choices into automatic habits.

Titles That Define Me

Mom

Being a mom to a daughter really made me think about the habits and behaviors I wanted to pass down to her and the ones I wanted to end.

Holistic Nutrition Coach

I’m a cheerleader, not in the traditional sense, but seeing women reclaim their health and wellness gets me riled up. I will always support you no matter what journey you’re on.

Spanish Speaker

I have a degree in Latin American Studies from U of C. I LOVE the Spanish language and fondly remember my spring semester in Guadalajara, MX, and block week in Mexico City.

Wannabe Barista

I’m a coffee nerd. Catch me chatting about the perfect roast. I mean, I did work at Phil & Sebastian as an office manager for a while, although they wouldn’t let me pull the shots.

Self Help Junkie

I started reading Wayne Dyer and Brian Tracy in my late teens, and I’ve been hooked ever since. My best book recommendations are Atomic Habits, Nutritional Wisdom, and Loving What Is.

Tennis Fan

My family and I are nuts about tennis. We go to the Indian Wells tennis tournament every year, and my favorite player is Maria Sakkari!

Reality TV Lover

Life’s too short not to watch the drama. 90 Day Fiancé, Below Deck, Real Housewives, Selling Sunset, yes, please.

Working with a coach or mentor isn’t necessary for success but does help you skip a lot of steps, provide vital accountability, and make the journey more enjoyable. The best way to know if we would be a good fit to work together is by having a quick chat. So reach out on my website. If you’re ready to finally feel at home in your body, I’m here to help.

Wishing you success and enjoyment on your own health journey.

You do not have to “do healthy” on your own. In fact, research tells us that you are much more likely to succeed if you have accountability layered in.

Let’s face it — healthy eating and healthy lifestyles can be boring and require a lot of patience. Having the support of an accountability coach and a community of like-minded individuals on your team can make all the difference. Share paths with a practicing holistic nutritionist, receive one-on-one coaching regarding your meals, and be connected on the app with my other clients and Ambassadors. You will have fun, stay motivated, and feel inspired!
